May bago akong na-discover kagabi.While I was scanning my old MEG magazine August 2005 issue. I was amazed of what I saw, Our beloved Sam was featured pala on the magazine as “Face Value” on the mag. She was 15 years old then.*cute*.

Full Name: Samuelle Lynne Acosta Pinto
Nickname: Sami,
(strangely enough, her older sister calls her Pam)

Birthday: December 11, 1989
School: Christian Harvest Academy
You’ve seen her in: Print ads for Globe, J&J, Bayo and TVC’s for Lewis and Pearl and Sunsilk
Fun Fact: Nope, Sam doesn’t have a twin. She played both girls in the Sunsilk ad who were racing to the bathroom to get dibs on the shampoo. “It was hard. I had to focus on an invisible person but it was fun,” she shares.
Hobbies: “I love to swim! I learned to swim first before walking! Hehe. . . Making friendship bracelets, playing volleyball, playing the drums, watching scary movies—I think I’ve seen it all—and listening to music.”
Favorite book: The Harry Potter series
Favorite hang-out: “Normally around Makati area, Glorrietta, Greenbelt, Rockwell, but I like to stay home and just bum around.”
Favorite food: “McDonald’s chicken nuggets.”
Favorite TV shows: “MTV, South Park and Strippella.”
Favorite subject: “None. Hahaha! Um, math I think.”
Favorite Music: “I listen to everything from hip-hop to reggae to rock but I don’t like senti and trance! I also like the Black Eyed Peas, Kjwan, Bob Marley, Kelly Clarkson and Incubus.”
Define your style: Boho and sporty. I love slippers! (Yup, you don’t see it but Sam was wearing a pair of black Havaianas on the day of the shoot).
Closet staple: “Jeans”
Stores you would love to raid: “People are People and Mango”
Beauty Secret: “I use mayonnaise on my hair [as a conditioner]. It really works! For the face, nothing really. I just wash my face.”
Guys you like: “Guys who are nice and smart”
Guys you don’t like: “Mayabang”
You hate: “Fish! Haha but only fish. And people who think they’re so high like way, way above normal people. They should come down to earth.”
You love: “The sea, music, water, my friends and my life.”
What’s strange about you: “When sleeping, for some reason, I end up hugging my pillow and making chup chup. It’s like you take the end/tip part of the pillow case and you just keep on folding it till its kinda sharp then I rub it on my face,”
Plans for the future: “ Hmm… I guess graduate from highschool and college first then become a famous fashion designer or a plastic surgeon.”
Sami’s Favorite things:
Volleyball- Sam has been a varsity player for four years now.
Drums- She’s only started playing drums last summer but is enjoying it tremendously!
Cellphone and Digital camera- Sam loves to funkify her stuff by adding a couple of friendship bracelets and other materials like denim (usually she uses jeans she buys at Uniwide which she says are “cheap so It’s okay to cut them up and not regret it”).
