Kim Chiu has is open to the idea of working with ex-Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemate Sam Pinto, who has confessed that she has a big crush on Kim’s onscreen partner, Gerald Anderson. “Siyempre wala lang (reaction) kasi given naman, guwapo siya (Gerald) at mabait. Bakit naman ako magseselos?” said Kim. The star of the teleserye Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo added that she has no problem if Sam—who is open to trying showbiz—becomes the third wheel in the Kim-Gerald team-up. “Okay lang kasi trabaho din naman ‘yon eh,” was Kim’s reaction. On his part, Gerald was flattered by Sam’s revelation. “It’s flattering, very flattering. What can I say? Sobrang nakakataba talaga ng puso ito.”
Like Sam, Kim and Gerald are both products of PBB, and belonged to the same teens edition in 2006, with Kim proclaimed as the Big Winner in the said season, while Gerald was the 2nd runner-up. The Fil-am actor revealed that the first time he saw Kim, he was sure that they would get along well. “Talagang alam ko na magkakasundo kami kasi talagang lahat ng jokes ko tumatawa siya. Sobrang benta sa kanya,” he explained. Kim’s first impression of Gerald was the opposite though. “Medyo hindi ko siya feel no’ng nasa PBB house kami parang ang yabang, napaka-amboy. Pero nung tumagal-tagal, ano pala siya, simple lang so nagkakasundo kami.” Kim also confirmed that she finds Gerald’s antics and jokes really funny.
Now that Valentine’s Day is just a month away, The Buzz host Ruffa Gutierrez asked the two about what kind of celebration will they treat each other to. “Alam ko may trabaho kami at sana magkasama kami sa trabahong ‘yon,” Gerald began. “Pero kung walang work, dadalhin ko siya sa isang deserted beach ‘yung kaming dalawa lang tapos magdi-dinner under the stars.” Kim also agrees to the idea of a dinner by the beach “tapos may mga kandila tsaka parang sa beach mahangin-hangin,” she said.
The two will star in the upcoming movie, Paano Na Kaya?, their second movie team-up, which will open in theaters on January 27 and their teleserye Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo that also stars, Kris Aquino, Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez and many more premieres on the primetime bida, Monday, January 18.

Will Sam Pinto consider dating Willie Revillame?
MANILA, Philippines - Model and "Pinoy Big Brother Double Up" ex-housemate Sam Pinto said she is not yet ready to have a new boyfriend.
Pinto, known for having a flair with fashion during her stint on the reality show, said she wants to focus on her career.
"Sabi ko dati ayaw ko magka-boyfriend now. More on career. Ayaw ko ng boytriend now. (I said before that I don't want to have a boyfriend now. More on career. I don't want a boyfriend now)," Pinto said.
Pinto is being prodded about possibly dating "Wowowee" host Willie Revillame, who teased her when she appeared as a guest host on the show last Saturday (January 16).
On the show, Pinto was teased by Revillame, a common practice for the irreverent host, by asking: "If there's one guy to court you, and he's 45, what would you think?"
Revillame is 48 years old and will celebrate his birthday on January 27.
Pinto said she enjoyed hosting on the show and thanked Revillame for inviting her. "(First time kong) mag-host ng ganoon na may live audience talaga. Pero ang saya. Thank you, kahit feel ko ang dami kong mali talaga, thank you pa din," she gushed.

People tend to misjudge me as a sophisticated snob person. I’m actually the opposite one. Some says I have a suplada-look that’s pretty daunting. I’m not really suplada so it’s reasonable to draw closer to me. Don’t annoy me coz I can be your worst enemy. I’m pretty much reserved and quiet but I know how to handle fun and I can surely rock life without regrets, I’m an extrovert-intuitive- thinker and perceiver. Model and fashion designer Sam Pinto became a Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemate in the middle of the season, which became a big challenge for her to adjust to the other housemates who were already bonded with each other for several weeks prior to her entrance. “At first it was very hard for me kasi bonded na sila. May mga nangyari na sa kanila na hindi ko alam. Kapag pinaguusapan nila ‘yung mga past weekly tasks hindi ako maka-relate. Pero hinayaan ko na lang. Later on naman I was able to catch up,” Sam shared in an interview with ABS-CBN.com.
The 20-year-old beauty said that she had an easy time being with the girls. “The girls were all nice naman lalo na si Mommy Kath (Lopena-Ortega). Siya talaga ‘yung nagasikaso sa akin, parang mommy talaga. ‘Yung ibang girls kasi parang wala lang.” But Sam admitted that she found fellow housemate Mariel Soriño a suck up. “She loves to kiss a**… Tipong lagi na lang, ‘Gusto mong linisin ko shoes mo?!’ ‘Ano’ng gusto mo?!’ ‘O sige gagawin ko ‘yan!’ ‘Super na!’ Ewan ko lang kung ganun talaga siya or strategy niya ‘yun so that all the housemates will like her and hindi siya ma-nominate. If that’s her strategy I must say it’s working. Galing! Hindi siya masyado nano-nominate.”
Sam, who instantly became popular with the male housemates because of model-worthy looks, revealed how the boys would try to hit on her during her first few weeks inside the house. “Naku! Puro cheesy lines ang mga naririnig ko sa kanila. Sobrang dami nakalimutan ko na kung ano ano. Si Hermes (Bautista) ang pinakamatinik talaga. Nakwento sa akin ‘yung pagka-close niya kay Katlin (Laas, the Finnish exchange housemate) and then kay Cathy (Remperas). He tried to get close with me pero wala talagang nangyari. Wala namang problema sa akin. Nakakatuwa rin. Pero hindi ko masyadong sineseryoso.”
Despite her popularity with the boys, none of them asked Sam to be their date during the Christmas Ball. Sam was disappointed, but she said that she already knows that there’s a downside to her good looks. “I guess they were scared of me, scared that I would just turn them down. All my life ganun din e. Sa school, ang laki ng school pero wala man lang nanligaw sa akin. But okay naman. Naging masaya rin naman ako.”
Sam admitted that she had wished for Paul Jake Castillo to have asked her to be his date at the ball. “He’s the cutest of them all…for me, ha ha ha! Type ko ‘yung mga bad boy looking, ‘yung mga dirty rugged looking guys.”

Newly-evicted PBB housemate Sam Pinto really knows who the hottest guys are!
On 'The Buzz' last Sunday, Sam revealed that Jake Cuenca once courted
her before he shot to fame while Gerald Anderson is her ultimate
showbiz crush.
Then on SNN tonight, Sam said that if given a chance, she'd like to do
hosting as well as acting chores and be paired with Coco Martin.
According to her, she likes Coco because he's a very good actor. Good
choice Sam! I'd definitely support Coco-Sam loveteam if ever.

On 'The Buzz' last Sunday, Sam revealed that Jake Cuenca once courted
her before he shot to fame while Gerald Anderson is her ultimate
showbiz crush.
Then on SNN tonight, Sam said that if given a chance, she'd like to do
hosting as well as acting chores and be paired with Coco Martin.
According to her, she likes Coco because he's a very good actor. Good
choice Sam! I'd definitely support Coco-Sam loveteam if ever.
But wait, Sam would definitely look taller than Coco. Unlikely pair?
Well, Coco's teamup with taller Alex De Rossi worked before in 'Tayong
Dalawa', why not with Sam?
I am already looking forward to Sam's future projects on ABS-CBN the
same way I'm hoping to see more of another ex-housemate Tom Rodriguez
(formerly Tom Mott).

Napasabak agad sa intriga ang latest Pinoy Big Brother Double Up evictee na si Sam Pinto sa kanyang live guesting sa The Buzz noong January 10. Kaagad kasing tinanong ng mga host na sina Boy Abunda, Ruffa Gutierrez, at Kris Aquino kung totoo nga bang naging boyfriend ni Sam ang aktor na si Jake Cuenca?
Itinanggi ito ni Sam, pero inamin niya na nanligaw sa kanya noon si Jake bago pa ito sumikat nang husto sa ABS-CBN. Ngunit naudlot din daw ang panliligaw ng aktor nang maging busy ito sa kanyang TV projects.
"Ayun, naging busy siya sa soap niya... Tayong Dalawa," sambit ni Sam.
Tanong ni Kris, "Tapos, parang hindi ka na niya pinansin because he was busy?"

"Sobrang nahirapan ako lalo na lahat sila magkakakilala na. Tapos pumasok ako. Whenever they talked about yung mga nagawa na nilang tasks, parang ako, 'Oh crap,' wala akong masabi about it."

Ex-PBB housemate Sam Pinto admits Jake Cuenca courted her
A day after she was booted out from the Pinoy Big Brother house, Sam Pinto appeared on The Buzz and there she revealed that Jake Cuenca courted her but when he got busy with the teleserye Tayong Dalawa, he suddenly stopped seeing Sam. When host Boy Abunda asked if it hurt her, Sam replied, “A bit, (but) after that wala na.” She also added has not yet dated anyone yet since the time Jake stopped pursuing her. When asked what message she would like to give to Jake, Sam answered shortly, “Nakita ko siya sa TV. He’s so famous now. I’m so happy for you.”
The commercial model said that she had been inside the PBB house for about seven weeks and since she was one of two housemates (the other one is former housemate Rocky Salumbides) last to enter the house, she found it difficult to blend among the housemates easily. “Sobrang nahirapan ako ‘no. Lalo na lahat sila magkakilala na tapos pumasok ako parang…whenever they talk about ‘yung mga nagawa na nilang task parang ako, ‘O crap!’” she explained. Nevertheless, Sam said that she learned so many things during her stay in Big Brother’s house, like independence. “Ever since, sobrang baby ako. Spoon-fed talaga.” The 20-year-old beauty said that she is spoiled by her mom.

Sam may now conquer the world
First perceived by her housemates as someone who was shy and reluctant to mingle, she was able to turn that around by expressing more of herself during the past days of her stay. Inside the house, she learned to open up about the intimate details of her life to different people.
For one, it was during the Christmas Ball last year when she poured her feelings out of being somehow avoided by most guys because of her intimidating beauty. Along with Rica who then also cried about being rejected and ridiculed, Sam said she resented how some boys don't even dare try because of their fear of being turned down by her.
Another of Sam's heartfelt confessions would be the time that she spoke about the status of her parents' relationship in the dinner date Hermes asked her to, together with Tibo and Rica. She told them she didn't even know what was the root of the breakup of her mom and dad. But even so, she understood that there are differences in life that just can't be reconciled. Fortunately, she has already accepted the way their family now works and regards her mom as the closest person to her heart.

Hello Samistas , Tita Theresa Again here.
Thank you for being there last night. You all were a blessing.
I stayed with Sam up to 3:30 this morning and started telling her about what happened while she was inside PBB. She was so happy konwing she could finally go back to the comforts of home and all things familiar and dear to her.
Rest assured that she was so ready to go home. She told me that she was ready to take Jason's or Johan's place should any of the two have been chosen to go. She was willing to volunteer to go out for any of them knowing both need the prize money more than she does. Lucky she did not have to do that.
Samistas as we all said , only the best will happen and I guess her going home now is timely under our Lord's divine plan.
She will be at the BUZZ later and at uber and uplate tomorrow.
Can one of the officers Private Message me for a contact number / cell number I can call in case this thread closes? so I can continue to communicate with you.
Again maraming maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Love you all.

Samuelle Lynne Pinto came from a well-off family. Her parents also separated when she was young. Her father has another family now and her mother is a lawyer.
Sam has been doing TV commercials since age 10. Her first regular television show is Midnight DJ. She joined the show as a cast regular in the middle of season 4. She plays Max, the Midnight DJ crew's resident psychic. She first appeared in the episode "Oink! Oink!".

Hi SAMISTAS! It's Ivor, Sami's close friend. In behalf of her sister Rae and her mom, I just want you to know that what you guys did last week was incredibly awesome. No words could describe how we, her family and closest friends felt when Sami got saved. This week would not be like the previous nominations that occurred. This time, it will be more crucial, knowing the fact that the three nominees have their respective followers/supporters already. I really hope that the support you gave my sister Sami last week would still be visible this week. Let's double or even triple the effort that we did just to save our dearest Sam. Sami deserves to stay cause there was never a time that she played safe, she was just true to her self. That's her, a very sweet and loving friend. Some people may think that she doesn't reach out to the others, but hey she tried and is still trying her best for them to somehow know the real her. I just hope these people could see this effort. She still has a lot of things in store for us, just so you know.

Jason, Johan and Sam are the 11th set of nominees
The housemates face the beginning of a new year minus a housemate and a weekly budget. Rica has already exited the house, but there were no tears for the season’s goddess. She left with gratitude for the experience and the opportunity to finally make up with her dad. Of course, her exit left Melai in tears. Good thing Tibo was there to provide support and words of encouragement. The concert also ended in disaster, with the housemates committing 4 mistakes above the allowed 10, thus losing their weekly budget. Yet, no bitterness came from the housemates. Despite their loss, they were still able to appreciate the fun times they had and the effort each poured into it. It seems like the housemates are finally learning that there is more to winning than material prizes.
Despite lacking a third king, another gift was given to the chosen housemate. Jason was the latest to receive a gift: a Sinski tricycle that would be a big help for the family income. In exchange, Jason had to serve the others as a houseboy for four days. His tasks included not just the usual house chores but also the whims of his señoritos and señoritas as well. In the beginning, Jason took the treatment of the others quite harshly, though after a talk with Kuya, he began to shape up and take his job more seriously. By the end of his challenge, Kuya called in the other housemates to give their feedback, and all agreed that Jason had indeed exerted effort and hard work, thus deserving the gift. They gathered in the living room and asked Jason to share his realizations regarding the task. What began as a light confrontation turned out to reveal quite a bit about Jason’s background. As Jason expressed his sentiments, he also could not help but become teary-eyed as he asked forgiveness from the others for his actions. As the eldest in his family, he had not really given himself much time for enjoyment. In fact, it was only in entering the PBB house that he had truly felt free to enjoy himself. Tibo later dished out words of wisdom to his comrade, urging him to dream of better things and to allow himself to be happy. He warns Jason about going back to his old ways, because “nasa huli ang pagsisisi”. Afterwards, the housemates were gathered in the activity area where Jason was finally awarded his tricycle. He took his housemates for a quick spin, while the others cheered him on.
In the confession room, Jason shared that he finally realized why his housemates treated him the way they did. It was not out of spite or love for power; rather, it was out of their concern for him. It was probably because of this that Jason was moved enough to not mark anyone with the heavy 3-point vote. Instead, he opted for an automatic nomination that could easily get him booted out of the house for good.
On the other hand, Paul Jake got a second go at being Head of House. The Tower of Dominoes challenge had the housemates splitting up into two groups. For the first round, all had to build the highest tower of dominoes within thirty minutes, with their hands tied. Johan, Kath, Cathy, Paul Jake and Melai were the winning team, and they competed against each other in the second round to determine the HoH. For this, they were to build the highest tower of dominoes within ten minutes, while blindfolded. With a 28 cm tower, Paul Jake won the title again. The losing team competed as well, to determine who the HoH game loser would be. With a 5.5 cm tower, Jason clearly lost the game, leading him to a self-imposed automatic nomination.
Joining him are Johan and Sam, who received 7 and 6 points, respectively. The others still felt Johan’s distance, plus his irritability and narrow-mindedness when discussing others’ views. Sam’s lack of housekeeping know-how got her the votes, since she was not able to help out with the household chores. On top of that, they were finding her quite insensitive in relating to the others. With Rica fresh out of the house, who is soon to follow?

Random SAMISTA thought

Welcome naman ng bonggang bongga para sa uber pretty new housemate na si Sam Pinto! Ang real name niya ay Samuelle, though mas kilala siya sa nickname niya. Fashion design ang course niya sa CSB, at dahil tri-sem dun, kailangan niyang i-repeat ang lahat ng kinuha niyang subjects kasi nga naudlot ang sem niya with PBB. Super creative siya at bukod sa unique designs niya, kaya niya ring magtahi ng damit. Simple girl lang si Sam, pero big dreams ang meron siya. Game siya sa unang task ni Kuya na magsuot ng patong-patong na damit for the housemates, at kahit pa naka-dress siya at puro hawak na sa kanya ang mga hindi pa niya kilalang housemates (rule kasi ni Kuya sa task e ang pwede lang magtanggal ng clothes sa kanila ay yung may-ari ng damit), hindi siya nag-inarte. Good follower daw itong si Sam, at ok lang sa kanya na sa background lang lalo na kung bagong salta sya. Later on, pag gamay na niya ang mga kasama, tsaka na siya magpapakitang gilas!
Simpleng kagandahan e no? Definitely someone to watch out for!

Ang challenge ng Bagyong Issa ay vote to evict, at lahat ng housemates ay nominated ngayong linggo. Quits quits lang ang labanan ngayon, and it's up to the people kung sino ang masisipa ngayong linggo.
Isang comment kay Sam ay yung pagiging background figure niya. Parang damo lang, andiyan pero wala masyadong naco-contribute. Si Johan nga, 'yun ang laging reason kung bakit siya nominated. Dahil kaya nominated siya kaya nagpapaka-biba itong si Sam? Unlike before na taga-yes or small talk lang siya sa iba, ngayon siya ang may hawak ng mic at humihirit na. Kunwari kasi chika reporter siya, kaya ayan, naghalungkat ng chismis. Step up na kaya ito para kay Sam? O kulang pa para ma-convince ang mga tao na wag siyang iboto this week?

For someone who grew up in a non-conventional family set-up, Sam is a well-adjusted gal. She grew up with her mom, since her parents parted ways early. Though a lawyer, her mom was the cool type, and Sam considers her mom as her closest friend. One anecdote that shows this is the time she wanted to have her ear pierced. She walked up to her mom to get her opinion on the cuter option: one piercing or two? Other moms would probably balk at the idea, but not Sams’ mom (who chose two, by the way). At the end of the day, both mother and daughter had ear-piercings and a day full of memories. Sam is not totally isolated from her dad, being able to see him once in a while. She has one other sibling, plus two half-siblings with her dad. She has grown accustomed to the fact that he now has a new life and has no hang-ups about it. Instead of hiding under her shell, Sam decided to bloom and grow. At the age of 10, Sam was already exposed to the modeling scene. She has starred in several TV commercials, and her confidence brought her to try out for last year’s MYX Veejay Hunt. Though she was not able to bag the top prize, she refuses to be daunted. Sam is no stranger to pressure, after all. As a student of fashion design, Sam has to constantly come up with original and unique clothes. Not only does she come up with original creations, but she can also sew her own clothes! The pressure to develop new ideas is always present, but this does not hold her back. She just keeps on moving forward, grabbing whatever opportunities that come her way. Sam oozes with creativity, something which she can share with her fellow housemates. Though her activities peg her as the extrovert, Sam admits she is quite timid amongst acquaintances. Hello samistas . This may all surprise you. I am the mommy of Sam. I apologize for just coming out now as am not a techie person so was not aware of this thread. I was informed by someone who assisted me in registering so I can communicate with all of you.
First, allow me to express my sincere appreciation for your love for my pampered pumpkin. that is what I call her. I sometimes call her honey, baby and champ.
Second , you have been out there campaigning to save her . thank you thank you so much. Rest assured that we, her family, friends and relatives are also doing the same. But whatever happens let us share Sam's attitude. it is a game and if she ever gets evicted this saturday, let us just welcome her back in our arms. I will be one "very happy mother" indeed.
Third, let me address the issue of her alleged "none audition". When Sam says she did not audition , she may have been referring to the fact that she did not fall in line to be auditioned. She was invited to audition. the process after the invitation was a long process of interviews , vtrs , tests. I should know, I was with her throughout the long process. In fact I did not want her to audition at all but as always my support was/is with her. The process was tedious in fact. Up until the last minute none of us knew if she passed the interviews and tests.
Fourth, on the matter of her being too quiet. That is her. quiet until she feels comfortable with the group. However, once comfortable, another facet of her personality emerges. that is what we are seeing now on TV, to the point of being called "maldita" by another housemate. To us "maldita" means pleasantly naughty , not malicious.
so for you who love her and appreciate her poise, class, elegance, beauty , etc etc, you appreciate them and admire them because the seed of what you admire in her is in you and that is why you recognize it. And of course , vice versa. If others see her other that what she is, then their view of her is a reflection of who and what they are.
Again, thank you thank you my dear samistas. I may not be able to post again as our techie guy will not be around to help me get back to this site.
Allow me to let you in a secret. I am sam's number one fan ! I so love her. I miss her so much. This is one instance of a parent giving space to her child, stepping back , even if it hurts but at the same time celebrating with her.
